  1. What problems did you overcome during this project and how?
Some of the problems that I had during this project focused mainly around making all the feet look correct, since they were in such different positions in the original image and it was hard to find good quality photos that fit the angles. When I did find correct pictures, I had to recolor them as well as add extra shading where there would be to fit in with the picture. Some feet looked out of place even after I re-colored and shaded them, so they took more editing than others to finally get them to fit.

  2. If you could change anything about the piece what would you do?
I would redo the left gryphon's head, since it seems to have a blank expression compared to the other one, and simply swap it out with another eagle face. I would also have looked harder for another picture with a simpler background, though it wasn't hard to manipulate, it was time consuming.

  3. Explain your animal?  What is their name/species? How did you come up with this idea?
My animal is a gryphon, or griffin, like out of mythology. With the head and talons and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion. These however are just baby gryphons, play fighting with one another to learn to use their talons. I used pictures of eaglets instead of full grown eagles as well as lion cubs as opposed to adult lions.
